Manor Autos offers two levels of car servicing.  Choose from an Interim Service or a Full Service.  We recommend an Interim Service every six months for high mileage vehicle owners or where the manufacturer recommends frequent checks in between annual services.  It is recommended that a Full Service should be undertaken annually to keep your car running smoothly.   A Full Service at Manor Autos includes a comprehensive list of checks on all parts of the vehicle including air filter changes, brake fluid top-up, power steering fluid and coolant.

Over time, your car’s brake discs and brake pads will be subject to wear and tear so it is important that you have them checked. It’s important you do this before they are so worn out that they cause damage and affect your ability to control your vehicle. It is recommended that brake pads and discs are changed anywhere between 25,000 and 60,000 miles but there are no rules on this as it is mainly down to the way that the vehicle is driven as hard braking can cause them to wear out much more rapidly. If you hear your car screeching when you brake, this is a reliable sign which indicates that the brake pads and discs need changing. Even the best of cars can eventually develop a fault, and when they do, Manor Autos will ensure you can get back in the driver’s seat and back on the road driving, as quickly as possible.  We aim to offer the highest level of service, to quickly and efficiently make your car safe and fully repaired.  So if there you have any warning lights that come up on your car, or the driving is not feeling right to you, do bring your car into us and we will happily take a look and let you know if anything is wrong.  

We have many car owners coming into us often with warning lights on their Electronic Control Units (ECUs) which monitor and manage the various electronic systems in modern cars. If there is a fault in any of these systems a code is generated and usually stored in the associated ECU. At Manor Autos, we have a full range of diagnostic tools which connects to your vehicle’s ECU to read any fault codes that are stored there. This helps us to pinpoint and diagnose faulty components to speedily resolve problems and to let you know exactly what is going on inside the car.

Manor Autos offers a comprehensive breakdown service to try and fix your problems at the roadside if you breakdown unexpectedly – call us if you are nearby and we will do our utmost best to come out and fix your vehicle.  If we cannot fix your car at the roadside where you are parked, then we can get you and your vehicle back to our garage located opposite the Manor Hospital in Walsall, to carry out necessary repair work. 

The cambelt, also known as the timing belt is a crucial part of your vehicle engine which synchronises the rotation of the crankshaft and camshaft.  Cambelts regulates the way your engine works, controlling the opening and closing of valves to the cylinders.  Cambelts wear out eventually but if they crack or snap while you are driving, this can cause damage which will be very expensive to repair.  So it is important that you replace a cambelt before this happens.   With this in mind, Manor Autos can give you a “cambelt inspection” when you book your car into us.  Please remember to ask us about how your cambelt is looking!
